Scope and Contents This collection contains photographs taken by Emily Cassel as part of her work for Scout Cambridge and Scout Somerville. The photographs were taken by Cassel between 2015 and 2017, with the photos appearing in printed Scout publications from the May/June 2015 issue through the May/June 2017 issue, the most recent issue at the time of donation. Abstract This collection consists of photographic materials created by JJ Gonson. The images primarily depict bands that played at venues in and around Cambridge, Massachusetts in the 1980s and 1990s and their spectators, as well as Gonson’s friends and family. Cambridge’s architecture and buildings feature in the collection, as well as several of the city’s small businesses.
