Collection Overview This collection contains eight letters from Louis Joseph Carchia to his sister Lillian Materazzo (Mrs. A. Materazzo), three V-Mail envelopes, and a newspaper clipping reporting funeral services for Carchia’s death (June 10th). The letters are all outgoing mail ranging in time from January 1944 to January of 1945. The V-Mail is made from photographic paper. The collection also contains enlarged photocopies of the letters.
Collection Overview The H. Benton Harris Papers, which date from 1939-1991, document approximately 50 years of H. Benton Harris's professional activities. The majority of materials concerns Harris's time with the Western Avenue Baptist Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Included in the collection is history of the Western Avenue Baptist Church through the 1990s. Collection Overview This collection contains 204 video tapes recorded by Joe Monteiro between 2000-2005. The majority of the tapes were recorded on Digital-8 format. (Tapes #13-29 were recorded in Hi-8 format.) All the tapes have been converted to digital and exist on 78 DVDs, located in Series 4. Joe Monteiro created a detailed catalog of each performance. Collection Overview The John J. Moss diary offers a detailed handwritten account of Moss’ trip to the World Scout Jamboree in Bad Ischl, Austria, in 1951. As they travelled by boat across the Atlantic and across Europe to arrive in Austria, it is also a personalized and detailed account of post-war Europe, visiting places such as Italy, France, and Algeria. Collection Overview The Henry M. Nevin correspondence consists of letters, postcards, and V-mail written by or to Nevin while he was serving in the military during World War II. The largest portion of the collection consists of letters and V-mail written by Nevin to his mother, Elizabeth (Mrs. Frederick Nevin).
