Included are notebooks kept by municipal employees detailing land use, sewers and drains, railroads, alcohol licenses, and parks. One item of note is the diary of T.P. O’Neill, father of 47th Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill. T.P. O’Neill, Sr. was Inspector of the Parks Department and later Superintendent of Sewers. Also included are volumes of certificates for Cambridge workers and business owners.
